  • Avoid overdoing it. Give yourself every other day off. Your body needs a chance to recuperate...especially with strength training. Three times a week for 20 minutes yields fantastic results.
  • Make sure you stretch first to prepare the joints for motion and avoid strain. Stretching afterwards is the icing on the cake. Plus it feels so good.

Strength training is any exercise that uses resistance to improve the endurance of your muscles.
